WORLD KOREAN BUSINESS CONVENTION
The 21st World Korean Business Convention, held from October 11 to 13, 2023, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, California, was lauded as the best event in its history. Focused on the goal of “Supporting Overseas Expansion of Korean SMEs,” the event was meticulously planned and executed. Quantitatively, the 2023 convention saw a 3~4 times increase in the number of participating businesses, exhibition booths, business consultations, contract negotiations, and expected contract amounts compared to the 20th convention, marking the most successful event in its 20-year history and significantly contributing to the entry of Korean SMEs into the U.S. market. Additionally, the convention provided US-based companies with joint venture business opportunities, fostering new partnerships and collaborative ventures.
In response, the Global Business Organizing Center under the Korean American Chamber of Commerce USA (KACCUSA) has planned the “World Korean Business Convention in the USA (WKBC USA).” This event will be held annually in major cities across the U.S. and aims to create networking opportunities for Korean companies looking to expand into the U.S. market, startups aspiring to enter the global market, and U.S. mainstream and Korean-American companies seeking collaboration to expand their businesses in Korea. The event will feature exhibitions, forums, and 1:1 business meetings as its core programs.
The Organizing Center launched preparations for the convention with an inauguration ceremony on May 17, 2024, in Atlanta, Georgia.
